Speakers
Trill Magnolia Fest is looking for speakers, moderators and panelists who know the culture because they have helped shape it.
Pitch a panel, conversation, fireside chat or live idea rooted in music, culture, entrepreneurship, style, community or the South. Bring us perspective, personality and something worth carrying home!
Speakers must be 21 or older. Submission does not guarantee selection.

Her set. Her sound. Her turn.
Women DJs age 21 and older from across the country are invited to take the stage at Trill Magnolia Fest. Three finalists will compete in two rounds for a $5,000 cash prize.
All three finalists perform. The judges eliminate one DJ, sending two to the final round.
The remaining two DJs go head to head. The judges choose the winner of the $5,000 cash prize.
Move the crowd. The judges make the call.
A General Admission or VIP festival ticket must be purchased before applying. Finalists are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.

Why is Trill Magnolia Fest in Lafayette, LA?
No one exemplifies the word trill like the late, great Chad “Pimp C” Butler. He was born in Crowley, LA, so the Acadiana region makes perfect sense to host the first official festival.
Is Trill Magnolia Fest just for women?
Not at all! Women and men are welcome to attend because the fest celebrates classic Southern millennial culture.
What can I expect at the festival?
Expect a full day of experiences, including live performances, celebrity meet-n-greets, panels and conversations, shopping, food trucks, cultural tributes, and Her Turn—our $5,000 female DJ competition.
What is Her Turn?
Her Turn is Trill Magnolia Fest's national female DJ competition, open to women DJs age 21 and older. Three finalists compete in two rounds for a $5,000 cash prize. The judges eliminate one DJ after Round One, then choose the winner from the final two. Audience reaction is vital, but the judges determine who advances and wins.
If I'm selected as a Her Turn finalist, does Trill Magnolia cover my travel?
No. All travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the applicant. Please consider travel costs before applying.
Will there be food at the festival?
Absolutely! Food trucks are part of the experience. We're in Lafayette, Louisiana—we know better than to play about the food.
Will there be vendors?
Yes. Trill Magnolia Fest will feature opportunities to shop with a curated selection of businesses and brands.
Can my business become a vendor or sponsor?
Yes. We welcome inquiries from businesses and organizations interested in participating as a Sponsor, Vendor, Media Partner, or Talent Partner. Contact info@trillmagnolia.com for partnership information.
Can I meet the artists and special guests?
Select festival experiences will include celebrity meet-n-greets and special activations. Access may vary depending on the ticket type.
Is there a dress code?
We encourage you to come cute and fresh as hell. Trill Magnolia Fest celebrates the music, style, and attitude that shaped us. We will announce the official 2027 theme before the festival.
Can children attend Trill Magnolia Fest?
No. Trill Magnolia Fest is a 21-and-up event.
Will security be on site?
Yes, city police officers will oversee security.
Will alcohol be served at the event?
Yes, a cash bar will be available. In addition to that, VIP attendees will receive a complimentary cocktail crafted by Trill Magnolia.
If I leave the festival before it ends, can I re-enter?
You can only re-enter by showing your ticket, ID, AND attendee bracelet received at check-in.
Are tickets refundable?
All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.
